* TVCB History
The Band started as "The Big Kids Band" in September 1988 at Fowler Junior High School. Bob Caster was the band director, and the Tigard-Tualatin School District sponsored the group, as it does today. Steve Heuser assumed Directorship from Delene Johnson in the fall of 1991 and under Steve's direction the band became the TVCB. The band is open to all ages, however individuals should have the ability to read music and own their instruments.
